I could probably write about healthy living every blog, every day, for the rest of my life. I am the model of healthy living, for about 2 hours every day, about 3 days a week. On good days, I wake up early to walk then eat a good breakfast and think “today is the day I am going to eat better, not yell at the kids to get ready, and have a great day at work.” On the other 4 days a week, I hit snooze for the 30 minutes I should be walking and then I get up feeling guilty that I didn’t walk. So, I plan my walk for the evening. And then I would rather watch my children’s football practice than walk. Regardless, I have a plan for healthy living. I am just going to encourage myself one hour at a time, one day at a time, and one week at a time. Then, the hours and days and weeks will add up to an overall change. If I slide backwards and ht snooze, I’ve just got to get back on the horse and start again the next hour and not feel guilty. Who is with me? One hour, one day, one week….to a lifestyle change of healthier eating and daily exercise?
