This week I am going to encourage myself by saying “I get to” instead of “I have to”. I get to break up by boy’s arguments, but at least I have two boys that I love. I get to fold and hang up the laundry night after night, but I do have a family and clothes on our backs. I get to stay late at work finishing up an end of the year grant report, but I also get to give county programs money they deserve for their hard work. I get to stay up late finishing preparing for opening night of AWANAs, but I do have 30-50 children who will run in on Wednesday excited to learn about God for the next 9 months. So, this week as I start to say “I have to” I am going to encourage myself by remembering to be thankful for all that God has given me. Will you join me in “I get to”.
